Welcome to a new blog! This is "Pony Paradise". My name is Kaitie and I'm the author of this blog. I have a toy/collector blog called, "The Glittery Toy Box", and it focuses on my collecting of various subjects, my toy collecting, and the fan conventions and events I go to. If you already read that blog or have passed by then you will know why I created this blog, but for those who are unaware I will break it down for you- My main collections are Hello Kitty/Sanrio and the My Little Pony franchise. Since most of my posts will be about either of those two subjects, I decided to create separate blogs for them as to not overshadow my other collections and event posts.

I've loved My Little Pony (MLP) since I was a child. Obviously, I'm not an "original collector", because MLP was around before I was born, but I can say that I have been collecting since I was a teenager BEFORE "Friendship Is Magic" aired. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of MLPFIS and I'm a huge fan of the current Mane 6, but I also am a huge fan of the original and past versions of the MLP figures. Most of my pony figures from childhood are gone and were destroyed or ruined, and as a teenager I was left to try and replace them. I did not really start collecting until I was a teen, before that I was just playing as a child.

This blog will feature all my new, latest, and future pony purchases and endeavors. For all other collecting, The Glittery Toy Box will feature those. My Hello Kitty blogging will be done here at: Hello Kitty Kollector.

Walgreens Exclusive Nurse Redheart

[ Rainbow Power Nurse Redheart figure ] Today, I bring you a look at the Hasbro My Little Pony (MLP) Nurse Redheart figure. She is from the "Rainbow Power" series and is a Walgreens exclusive. She is not brand new, so I'm sure many of you have her or at least know of this figure. Honestly, I have taken my sweet time getting her. My Walgreens always has an overflow of these, so it never felt like a rush for me to have to go out there and get it. I bought her about 2 weeks ago, because Walgreens was having a "Buy 1 Get 1 50% off" + they were already marked down to $2.99 for a sale through September, so it was quite the steal! In order to get the deal, I had to use my Walgreens Balance Reward card, which is basically just a card that is free and allows customers to get sale prices and earn points for money off. Funko Vinyl Figure: Cheese Sandwich - Glitter Variant

The recent ponies to be released as Vinyl Figures from Funko are: Maud Pie and Cheese Sandwich. Both of these characters have appeared on My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic as featured guests. The early release is always exclusive to Hot Topic and months from now other shops and stores will get these. Until then, if you want them, head on over to Hot Topic! [ Funko Vinyl figure: Cheese Sandwich, glitter variant ] 1 out of 12 of these figures made are a glitter variant. The glitter ponies appear in a jelly-like coloring that's see-through and glitter chunks inside. I have not been able to find Maud Pie in glitter form yet, but I have found 2 Cheese Sandwich glitters! *** The photos above are in nautral lighting and the Cheese Sandwich on the left is just in a shadow; there is nothing wrong with his coloring. [ side view vs front view ] He looks cute and very well done! I've never had an issue with a glitter variant from Funko when it comes to these pony vinyls.
