Welcome to a new blog! This is "Pony Paradise". My name is Kaitie and I'm the author of this blog. I have a toy/collector blog called, "The Glittery Toy Box", and it focuses on my collecting of various subjects, my toy collecting, and the fan conventions and events I go to. If you already read that blog or have passed by then you will know why I created this blog, but for those who are unaware I will break it down for you- My main collections are Hello Kitty/Sanrio and the My Little Pony franchise. Since most of my posts will be about either of those two subjects, I decided to create separate blogs for them as to not overshadow my other collections and event posts.

I've loved My Little Pony (MLP) since I was a child. Obviously, I'm not an "original collector", because MLP was around before I was born, but I can say that I have been collecting since I was a teenager BEFORE "Friendship Is Magic" aired. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of MLPFIS and I'm a huge fan of the current Mane 6, but I also am a huge fan of the original and past versions of the MLP figures. Most of my pony figures from childhood are gone and were destroyed or ruined, and as a teenager I was left to try and replace them. I did not really start collecting until I was a teen, before that I was just playing as a child.

This blog will feature all my new, latest, and future pony purchases and endeavors. For all other collecting, The Glittery Toy Box will feature those. My Hello Kitty blogging will be done here at: Hello Kitty Kollector.

Walgreens Exclusive Nurse Redheart

[ Rainbow Power Nurse Redheart figure ] Today, I bring you a look at the Hasbro My Little Pony (MLP) Nurse Redheart figure. She is from the "Rainbow Power" series and is a Walgreens exclusive. She is not brand new, so I'm sure many of you have her or at least know of this figure. Honestly, I have taken my sweet time getting her. My Walgreens always has an overflow of these, so it never felt like a rush for me to have to go out there and get it. I bought her about 2 weeks ago, because Walgreens was having a "Buy 1 Get 1 50% off" + they were already marked down to $2.99 for a sale through September, so it was quite the steal! In order to get the deal, I had to use my Walgreens Balance Reward card, which is basically just a card that is free and allows customers to get sale prices and earn points for money off. Blue Flu Discord & Derpy Card Box

Recently, I went to the mall on a quest to find the latest Tokidoki Unicorno blind boxes at Hot Topic . Unfortunately, they were out, but I did find a good deal on their clearance and they happened to have two items I wanted. The deal was- Buy 1 Item/Get 1 item for a $1 . [ Funko vinyl figure Blue Flu Discord ] So, I wandered around the store and didn't see much that caught my eye, until there was a random Blue Flu Discord sitting on top of a rack with a $12 sticker on him. I'm not going to lie, I'm not he biggest Discord fan. I enjoy what he brings to the show, but I'm not a huge follower. Up until now, the only other Discord merchandise I owned was from the Funko Mystery Mini blind boxes and that's because I wanted the whole collection. Anyway, I couldn't resist the $12 price and I actually did attempt to buy this guy last winter, but oddly enough, some guy in the area I live in went around and bought all of the Discord figures from Hot Topic.
